The Lucid Necklace features a stone ring held in place by a hand carved pendant on a 16" silver box chain.

Please note: Silver will darken over time but should brighten with a quick polish (cloth included with each box). It is less reactive to body chemistry than Bronze or Brass, but it's still best to avoid saltwater and chlorinated water when possible. Hot tubs and exposure to sulfur will turn silver jewelry instantly black.

Open House Projects jewelry starts its life as sketches on paper when inspiration strikes, and is eventually carved in wax between the Catskills and New York City. New work is often made at odd hours in the studio, in hotels, on picnic benches and in cars. Our work is created with respect for the inimitable nature of something that is made by hand. We gravitate to designs with moving parts, pieces that fit together in satisfying ways, and more utilitarian design elements like working clasps and closures. We aim to make objects that feel good to wear, and are nice to interact with.

All pieces are delicate in nature and should be treated accordingly. Pieces with stones should be protected from impact or bending, as stones are meticulously and precisely set, and may pop out of their settings if shifted in any way. For best results, have a professional jeweler clean your piece to ensure longevity.
