AK Studio is designed and directed by Anna Korte. Originally hailing from the high desert of Arizona, Anna is equally inspired by architectural shapes, geometry and science-fiction fantasy as she is by symbology, shamanism and the mythopoetic nature of all things. The jewelry line was founded in 2008 in Portland, OR where it continues to be based and produced in-house at a light filled waterfront studio located in the SE Industrial District.
All pieces are delicate in nature and should be treated accordingly. Pieces with stones should be protected from impact or bending, as stones are meticulously and precisely set, and may pop out of their settings if shifted in any way.
